QuestionSpecifically, on the model CS5119-2, the online manual references a Menu selection of Announcement for recording an Answering Message of your own. However, in the Menu/Select button, the up and down arrows do not bring up any Announcement record option.

Make sure that the number of rings of your Telephone service provider's Voicemail is 2 rings less than what is set on your answering machine.
