- Answer The cordless headset has a maximum continuous talk time of 9 hours abd a standby time of 90 hours. You results will likely be less than the maximum.

- Answer Yes. I find I have been able to do that without even referring to the manual. One of the things I like about this phone is that I can intuit what I need to do for the results I want. It is not particularly complicated and the design of features is logical.....and I am a space case, so that is saying something ! LOL By the way, you can turn off the answering feature completely, if you so choose.

- Answer I think you can use them inter-changeably, but I don't use that feature as my cell phone isn't smart. Just a plain jane. But now that I have this V-tech phone, I really want to get a smart phone. You can transfer your calls from the home phone to the cell phone and vice versa.

- Answer I would assume you can do this thru you local phone company. Just Google them..and then click how to disable call waiting. Generally it's star * and then some numbers

- Answer I use Ooma for our landlady service; works well with Ooma. I think you need a landlines for the answering machine, my cell phone receives voice mails for calls made to my cell #.
