“Is the software included a trail software or do we get an actual license to own the software?”

You can choose to download two free programs. They are full-use programs, but one of them, Clip Studio Paint Pro, provides for only a two-year license.

The software included is mostly fully functional versions but they only last a year or two, so they're subscriptions, not full perpetual-licensed software.

It's licensed -- you can use it as much as you want forever, but it's not the pro version. I downloaded the "Painter Essentials" software, and it does way more than I can figure out how to use, so I don't need to pay for the pro version.
