“Two questions: 1 It says 800W (1600W) max. I will be using for an iron (not continuously) and an iron uses 900-2000 Watts.Will this be enough to power iron? 2 How it is powered? Do I need a USB to USB cable for the car or how do you power the device”

Hello BigATees, The Inverter only provides 800 Watts max and your Iron requires 900 - 2000 Watts so even at the LOWEST, 900 Watts would still be more than the 800 Watts (MAXIMUM that this inverter is capable of) so this inverter would not be powerful enough. You would need a 2,000 Watt Inverter to properly provide power for your iron.
