QuestionCan one of the center shelves be removed as to fit a large center speaker 19/34w x 12 h by 10 deep?

- Answer Hello CSPEAKER, Thank you for the question! Yes, The center shelves can be removed! With the center shelves removed, the dimensions of the middle are are: 15-1/8" D x 18-1/4" H x about 30" W. If you are looking for more dimensions, there is a line drawing at the end of the picture selection. Hopefully that helps in your decision! Thank you!

QuestionWhat is the material of the back of the center shelves? Could that backing be left out when assembled, or can it be cut out to accomodate my center sound system that is deeper than the shelves?

- Answer Hi Emo, The back panels of this item are made of High-Grade MDF. They are thinner pieces than the rest, and the middle portion you're talking about is screwed into place towards the end of set up. We wouldn't recommend cutting into it, but it could easily be left off during assembly. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

QuestionIn reading the questions for this items...all of which were very helpful, if the right and left side compartment shelves are 17 5/8" deep, how can the center shelving be only 15 1/8 " deep?...my equipment needs a minimum 16 1/2 " depth.

- Answer Hi Pete, Great question and sorry for any confusion. The depth of the entire console is 17 7/8", including any overhang on the top piece. The shelves are all listed at 15 1/8" deep. You can see in the main image that the shelves stop just short of the front of the console. There is a little bit of extra space beyond the shelf. But likely not enough for 16.5", or else the doors will not be able to fully close in the middle section. Let us know if you have any other questions.

- Answer Hi Mark, thank you for your question! For me, looking at this piece, I would recommend taking out shelf in question to best accommodate your device. I cannot speak to the exact adjustable nature of this piece (as I am out of office due to COVID), however if you email [email protected] or call 877-203-2917, they have someone in our office who can get a better measurement. - Answer Hello! This is a great question! The dimensions for the middle shelves are 15-1/2" W x- 15-1/8" D x 5-3/4" H. For the side shelves, they are 6-1/2" H x 18-1/4" H x 17-7/8" D with adjustable shelves as well. Thank you!
