Is this a type A or Type C or both? null

It has a built in USB type A connector

The hard drive itself is C-type only however with the correct cord it can connect to any USB 2, 3 or 3.1 device.

This is a USB-A connection but is USB-C --a great drive so far.

I apologize, I recently bought a couple portable HDs for various purposes and got confused with my original answer. This specific model is a USB 3.0 (might even be 3.1) A-type connector. It's built right into the hard drive and has a little spot on the back to snap the cord in when not in use.
