      • Answer It works on my laptops 3.0 USB (the blue one) and also on the black one (2.0?) I'm not sure if it will work with others. The WD company tells me this drive can't be password protected. I'm advising anyone who needs to be able to password protect a storage device not to buy this one.

      • Answer It is a one terabyte solid state drive. One terabyte is equal to 1000 Gigabytes. And it isn't a hard drive. Hard Drives have moving parts, this has none, giving it much faster transfer speeds. After formatting, you will end up with something like 960 Gigabytes that can actually be used.
