A:Answer I will say no based off a YouTube video where someone put in a gen 3 PCIe; the system did not load up and asked for him to remove the PCIe. In addition to needing a gen 4 PCIe, Sony recommends 5,500 mbps. This one has 3,400 mbps. So you'll want not only a gen 4 PCIe, but one that can reach 5,500 mbps.
