- Answer If it has a USB port I don’t see why not. A flash drive is a file storage device like any other. Most are programmed for both Microsoft and Mac based products.

- Answer IOS has a built in file manager that can detect usb connections. On IOS you select the photos you want to save. Tap the share icon, scroll down to "save to files". There you can choose the usb drive. Depending on which IPhone you have. You will need and lighting port to usb type-A Or you will need a usb type-C to type-A adapter.

- Answer I have never come across that problem. I'm sure if you call Scandisk they would walk you thru it. Maybe the documents themselves are the problem. Either way let me know what you find out. It may help me in the future

- Answer Your mac itself will show when the file transfer is complete, when the light is blinking that means a current action is taking place (file transfer)

- Answer That really depends on the resolution you're shooting at. If you're rendering 4k or less, maybe 2 hours, depending on what you're shooting with? If it's 4k raw or above maybe less? My brother is a filmmaker and his drives are a terabyte or larger, but he's shooting in 4k-8k raw resolution and color corrects in post.
