- Answer Hi KP, Yes, you can copy the data from your PC to this drive this drive is enabled to work on both mac and PC. The hard drive needs to be reformatted in a supported filesystem that is ExFAT format. Please refer to the link mentioned below to know how to reformat the external hard drive. QuestionCan I use it to transfer files between computers, or is it only configured to use on a single computer? I want to be able to save a file from my iMac to transfer to my Macbook then save updated file back to my iMac.

- Answer Yes, it’s basically a really large usb drive. You can plug into multiple machines to transfer files (as long as the computer recognizes the file format). In your situation transferring between MacBook and iMac, should have no problems at all. Enjoy

- Answer Hello Junfresh, Yes it should work just have to buy a separate adapter that’s usb From the hard drive to usb-c for the port on you MacBook unless they went back to regular usbs. I have a 2017 13” MacBook Pro and I have to buy the additional adapter for my usbs or anything I wanna hock with that has a usb. I bought that for more storage for my ps4. I have this for my MacBook LaCie 2TB Mobile Drive External Hard Drive USB-C USB 3.0 https://store.apple.com/xc/product/HMTZ2ZM/A which come was the usb-c cord in it already at least mine did. The USB to usb-c adapter is $19 before taxes directly from Apple. It’s also the same price from Best Buy’s. - Answer I bought the WD easystore 2tb - it does come with WD Discovery software for WD backup and WD Drive Utilities. I just deleted the software and use my WD as a 'HUGE' Thumbdrive. It works fine.. and very fast! No problems with my Chromebook or Windows 10 Laptop.

- Answer I bought this for my mom to use with her iMac. I had to reformat the drive to work with Mac, but it works fine. It’s super easy to do. Just use the Disk Utility app on your MacBook.
