- Answer Hi, Sony added support for external USB hard drives on the PS5 with their April 2021 update. However, due to PS5 restrictions, games can only be played off the console’s internal SSD. QuestionSince these have small rubber feet on the bottom, would it be ok to stack them on top of each other. I'm just concerned, since they are mechanical drives, that the vibration from one another, might affect the operation.

- Answer For years I have stacked these one on top of the other - currently the tower is 10 drives tall! I have not noticed any problems or errors.

- Answer I haven't had this issue myself but from what I can see from what I've researched, you may need to try repairing the folder in steam. Like this "Setting>Downloads>Steam Library Folders>Right Click your folder>Repair Folder", you may need to run steam as Admin, which you can do by pressing the windows button, searching for steam, then clicking run as admin. Hope this helps!

QuestionHas anyone taken one of these apart? If so, do they have a normal SATA interface with a SATA to USB micro board, or do they have a soldered on USB connection? Asking because SATA would allow this to be a large internal back up drive in a laptop.

QuestionI keep seeing a reference to ‘Time Machine’ is this software that comes from WD or is purchased separately? I had used Norton Ghost for complete HD imaging of the drive for failure backups to restore the HD. Interested if similar program. Thanks

- Answer Hi Majeskty, Please be informed that Time Machine can be used with most external USB hard drives as well as many Network devices. For external drives, the device must be formatted as HFS+ in order to be used with Time Machine. Time Machine is a backup method supported on macOS. - Answer Not unless you buy a converter. There is only one cord provided and it is a USB end that connects the drive to your device. That cord is fine for a Mac desktop but pretty much no other Apple product at this point. Apple does make a converter cord. I will have to purchase that as well to back up my MacBook.

- Answer There is no external power, it is completely portable. Just plug in to usb port in pc/laptop, xbox one, playstation 4 etc. I know that doesn't really answer the question of wattage but hope that helps.
