A:AnswerWD usually provides an option to use it or not. In my case I needed an external hard drive for my iPad Pro 2019 so I formatted accordingly, runs great!
A:AnswerYes, this should back up data from your version of FamilyTree Maker, running on Windows 10, assuming that the data files are written to the computer's hard drive.
A:AnswerSounds like its need to be erased and formatted in the proper format. Most drives even if they say Mac compatible are formatted in ntfs or fat32 which dont work well or at all with macS
A:AnswerI dont know if you can do that directly but you can use airdrop if the drive is connected to a mac computer and you have airdrop setup to drop into a folder on the drive when on your own network
A:AnswerThe easystore is a Best Buy exclusive brand and does not come with password protection. If you are using Windows, you can use BitLocker to encrypt your drive.
A:Answerpretty sure you can't do that as external hard drives need to be formatted for the playstation so won't be recognised on a pc. The only work around I can think of is copy files back to your playstation then from there onto your new hard drive - would take a while though !
A:AnswerI doubt it. MAYBE if you find an adapter. But out the box, no. But a laptop with iTunes should do it. I’d suggest using a MacBook if you have one able to use.
A:AnswerIts included cable is USB-A so it wont directly plug in, even if you got an adapter I dont think the phone would supply nearly enough power to it(it draws its power directly from its USB interface). Maybe look for On the Go(OTG) type adapter for something like a thumb drive or MicroUSB card as a phone can def power those whereas this is a mechanical hard drive inside the enclosure(not an SSD) so it needs a bit of power.
