is that 16T per bay ?? or 8T per bay totaling 16T ?? null

Two 8TB drives that con be configured as either one virtual 16TB drive or as mirrored 8TB drives.

Best Buy did not do a good job advertising this product, I was hesitant to buy it too. It is 16 TB/2 x 8 TB drives in RAID configuration, but you really only get 14.5 TB total of space.
