Let depends on what you mean can you use this if you mean can you backup the original files from your old backup drive and have Western Digital read it no but you can get this backup and run our whole new backup of the existing data and then you will have both files old and new all you have to do is read download and open your old files put him in a folder and then backup to the new Western Digital drive that's it you're done
