QuestionBest Buy sold me the WD model #WDBZYL0020BSL-5The sales associate sold me the only model they had without indicating this was specific for older computers. In fact he knew very little about the external drives. I can't get this to work, I have El Capitan iOS and just realized as I tried to use it for the first time it is an older model. Best Buy will not exchange it for another one. Are there any upgrades for this so I can get it to work?

- Answer It should work fine, it's just an additional drive. I don't know if you have Time Machine on that model so not sure if the system backup will work automatically like it should.

- Answer Being that iPhones & IPads are apple products yes this external hard drive is compatible. I backup my iPhone 7plus data on this every time I get the chance so it doesn't slow my phone down.
