Can I use it on my Xbox is PS4? null

Hi Sam, The WD My Passport external hard drive can be connected to a gaming console as a backup hard drive. However, there are some hard drives that are specifically designed to be used with gaming console like "WD GAMING DRIVE ACCELERATED FOR XBOX". Need Help? I would absolutely NOT recommend that. I used one previously for my ps4 per my wife's desire, not mine and sure enough after a couple months it quit working entirely. Sony and Microsoft both recommend not using one.

Don't play video games. This drive is formatted for Mac not Microsoft or Android. Can't answer, I am a photographer.
