• I am not sure if it can be, as far I know the PS4 does not support external hard drives

• i am using it on my xbox 360, i am not 100% sure if it works with ps4, as far as i know ps4 does not allow any external hard drives as of yet, maybe down the road, but i would suggest much bigger that a 1 tb for an xbox one or ps4, i have a 3tb on my xbox one and works great

• If PS4 supports USB drives, yes. Whether is USB 2 or 3 will determine speed. Best to upgrade the internal HDD instead.
