I use it exclusively for my Surface Pro 3 and it works just fine. No problems!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may need a powered USB Hub in order to provide the extra power that this device requires. Otherwise, my guess is it should work. Your 2TB drive may also work if you put a powered hub between it and your Surface.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Surface Pro and it does work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this should work just fine on a Surface Pro 3. It's just like a laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would think it should work, especially if you have a USB port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This drive does work with the Surface Pro 3. I have the 1TB and the 2TB and both work just fine on my Surface Pro 3, my Dell Latitude 3340, my Lenovo Server, my HP Envy, and two or three other laptops and desktops I work on. I would check in the device manager to ensure the drivers loaded correctly. I do have other devices where the drivers did not load fully and so had to delete the device, reboot the machine, and go through the process again. Surface is a bit sensitive at times.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 1TB that works on my Surface Pro2. I don't see why a 2TB shouldn't work on a Pro3. It is a full fledged computer after all. Just my $0.02.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.MY WD Passport Ultra works fine with my Surface Pro 3. I have just been copying to the hard drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This product is PC compatible and Surface Pro 3 is also a Windows based system. If your previous backup drive did not work then it is worthwhile reformatting the drive into a recognizable format.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one and use it with my Surface 2 and it works great. Shouldn't be any problem on the Surface Pro 3 since it is running a full OS.
