Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes works with many operating systems. Has a USB connection. Connects with any laptop with USB ports, and if you use a wireless passport then all your files and such can also download on to your Kindle too. Just remember if you are trying to put old files on a new computer make sure you download them into your new one before you shut down the old computer, other wise you would have to start all over to get them again. Did it twice before I knew it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not familiar with WOW gateway but if the company said they have a USB drive port on the back, the passport IS a USB3 drive therefore it should be compatible with the port. It may be that their software is set tto only recognize the ESATA port. I would call WOW back and ask the questions again for clarification. As far as ESATA is concerned, very few drives are ESATA, most are USB 2 or USB 3. ESATA is faster in real life than USB 3 but not nearly as friendly to use. ESATA is not usually "hot swappable" and requires special cables to work. The cables are often "touchy" and may disconnect. Not worth the trouble in my opinion. I bought 1 ESATA drive. I never bought another one.FWIW
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This drive comes with a drive specific cable that should not be used with other devices. One cable end connects to the drive and the other end is a standard USB connector for connections to your computer or laptop's USB ports.
