A:AnswerHi Prateek,
The WD My Passport Ultra drive is a plug and play device which comes preformatted in NTFS file system for Windows computer. It is best your WD My Passport Ultra to be re-formatted in macOS Extended (Journaled) file format, to be compatible with Time Machine or exFAT to be read/write ready on both Windows and macOS.

A:AnswerHello, Please be informed that My Passport Ultra portable is a plug and play DAS(Direct-Attached Storage) device. We would recommend you to connect device directly via a USB port. It's not a solid state drive. To know more about the drive refer the User Manual in the below link- https://www.westerndigital.com/en-in/products/portable-drives/wd-my-passport-ultra-usb-c-hdd?sku=WDBC3C0010BSL-CESN
A:AnswerI use it on win 10 but it will not work on Win 11. Both are desktop machines. I don't know if it will work on any phone.
When using it I am unable to delete any file. Don't know if it is the drive or my machine. Not real happy with it, but I use it for storage only so it works ok I guess.
