• Yes it works great. Just follow directions on Xbox one. What I like about it is that it gets power from the USB port

• Yes, I have it plugged into my Xbox one to give me more space for game storage.

• I have an extra I'm going to use, but I haven't as of yet. I did speak with Microsoft by phone on an issue I was having, and again at the MS store and asked if it was possible to use them as backup storage for games, they both said yes.
