• A:Answer No, the weBoost Home Room doesn't need to be connected to the internet. It does come with an outside antenna that will help bring the outside cellular signal inside to the booster.

• A:Answer No, the weBoost Home Room doesn't need to be connected to the internet. It is designed to pull the outside cellular signal inside to a booster that will help amplify the cellular signal for use in your home. Home Room works on all US carrier networks and is compatible with all phones and cellular devices.

• A:Answer The white part goes on the side of your house or your roof. The cable/cables are run into the home and attached to the part the you attach the electric cord to. It is very easy to install. Just make sure the outside part is put up as high as you can and that it is pointed toward the nearest cell phone tower.

• A:Answer Yes, you can check your actual signal strength measured in dBm as the connectivity bars are not a great representation of your signal. (visit weBoost's blog for help on ways to do this - generally in an Android phone it can be found under settings and iPhones will need to be put into "Field Test" mode). You will want greater than -110 dBm for 3G and -120 dBm for 4G LTE. Remember, the strength of the outside signal will determine the range of the booster in your home. If you have poor signal outside, this booster will cover a small room only. To cover more square footage we would recommend looking at a stronger booster like the Home Complete or Home MultiRoom.

• A:Answer The weBoost Home Room Cell Phone Signal Booster kit does have cables. The system is made out of an external antenna (placed on your roof) that is connected via a RG6 Cable to the Booster unit in your home. The Booster is then connected to an internal desktop antenna via another RG6 Cable. The Booster does require power so that is also plugged into a power outlet in your home.

Q: QuestionI live in a mountainous region (Smokey Mountains) up near the top of the mountain in a cove and is heavily wooded. I'm sure I won't have direct line of site to the cell tower. Current status is a text sent/received every so often. Will this work?

• A:Answer A booster doesn’t create cell signal. It picks up the outside cell signal (no matter how weak) and amplifies it inside your home for better talk, text, and data. The effectiveness of any booster depends on the strength of the outside cell signal. With this in mind, the Home Room would most likely only cover a small room. For better coverage, we would recommend a stronger booster like the weBoost MultiRoom (Best Buy #6364298) or weBoost Home Complete (Best Buy #6355244).

• A:Answer The weBoost Home Room works on the following frequencies: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1700/2100 MHz, 1900 MHz. The 600MHz frequency currently can only be enhanced with specific devices as per FCC regulations.

• A:Answer The weBoost Home Room consists of an external antenna placed outside your home, that is connected to the booster via RG6 cable. The booster is then connected via another RG6 cable to the Desktop antenna inside your home. The booster does require power, so it will need to be plugged into one of your homes power outlets. Best Buy does accept returns, please see their customer support team for details on their return policy.

Depending on the size of the warehouse you would want to look at a stronger booster like the weBoost Home Complete or weBoost MultiRoom. Q: QuestionWill this improve the 4g data speed in my home? Right now it's wildly sporadic; mostly very slow in the house- better and more consistent outside. I use AT & T cell towers.
