QuestionWHY DO YOUR SERVERS KEEP GOING DOWN. THE WEMO MINI SMART PLUG IS USELESS WHEN THIS HAPPENS. I HAVE CALLED SUPPORT TOO MANY TIMES TO COUNT. I AM PROVIDING A SCREENSHOT OF THE APP WHEN THIS OCCURS.

- Answer No. It has its own app that will allow you to control it. I use Google Assistant and SmartThings.

QuestionCan I attach an extension cord to this and have multiple lamps/chargers connected to it? Will it support that much power?

- Answer the plug is rated for 120 volts 15 amps,/1800 watts so it is possible to do so. I'd not to personally run 15 amps thru an extension cord, but that would be an awful lot of lamps and chargers anyway

- Answer They are a easy way to turn lights on and off over the phone app or Wi-Fi. They may use some power but it is minimal for the convenience. But they use 0.3W when off and 0.6Watts when on. Looking at the fine print.

QuestionI have a wemo insight switch, and a wemo mini plug, I have both devices on my wemo app, I bought a second wemo mini for another room and plugged it in, but the problem is that it does not show up on my wemo app, I do not know how to find it.

- Answer I have a total of 5 & had no problem with my App detecting them. Just follow the instructions that come with your plug.

- Answer We had a heater plugged into one & it got very hot so I wouldn't suggest plugging an AC into one. I would think it would pull a lot of juice.

- Answer Not able to dim, just on and off and of course set schedules . Wemo has a hard wired dimmer switch.
