A:AnswerHi! When brand new out of the box, the control pad will have a plastic skin over it that was meant to protect it during shipment and delivery. It should easily roll off from the edges. You should be able to rub it from the edges to get it to lift and it will pull right off. It's often unnoticed upon unpacking and after use starts to loosen and will appear there are bubbles. We hope this helps!

A:AnswerThe number on the glass is "Y221." HOWEVER, I just looked at the glass plate that was inside the Jennair microwave that I just replaced and the number is "Y181" and it fits EXACTLY the same. (I'm planning to save and use it if/when the new plate cracks/chips.) What that tells me is that you may be able to use the same glass plate in your microwave even if it has different numbers. The diameter of this plate is 13.5 inches. Best to check online, however, to see what works. Good luck.
