Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is a fairly easy self install. I did it with my adult granddaughter. Just four screws - two for the back plate and two from the top, through the cabinet. I used the template sheet included, but it is easier just to measure, mark, drill holes and install. We did it in about an hour, including taking down the old one that died after 10 years. Disposing of the old unit - keep the old glass plate to use for other things. Your local waste disposal agency should have accomodations for you to turn in an old appliance, microwave, comptuer equipment, etc. just give them a call.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.See the title above. Easiest to dispose of the old unit (and most gratifying) by giving kids access to a sledgehammer and about old sheet. Then throw into trash (But recycle the kids for more demolition duty- they're naturally good at it).
