A:Answeryou could probably install it anywhere, but your vent would not work. There is no pedestal and no trim as it's meant for over the range. You're looking for a different style of microwave designed for the purpose you're looking for.

A:AnswerThere are three options to vent 1) through the back of the unit which requires a vent shaft through the wall and the roof 2) on the top through a shaft to the roof 3) or what I did, it comes through the front is vented into the room.
A:AnswerTouch and hold the Cancel button for about 3 seconds. 2 tones will be heard. The padlock symbol will disappear. The control panel will be unlocked. Repeat to lock the control panel.
A:AnswerThe underside filter can be detached and washed via dishwasher. I can foresee it having to be replaced if scrubbed by hand too often. Perhaps soaking is another option if you don't have/use the dishwasher. Unfortunately, this unit is relatively loud. (Much louder than our 12yo kenmore that we replaced)
