- Answer We love love our new refrig....do not notice any fingerprints! We also do not have any problems with noice...do not run ice maker....older home with no water hook up! I would refer this to anyone who is looking to purchase!

QuestionHi, Multiple answers indicate the icemaker can be disabled-I do not want it. But a couple people have mentioned even when the bar is in the parallel position and off, the freezer still makes some noise periodically due to the ice maker. Is that true?

QuestionCan the plastic/fiberglass hinge cover be removed, allowing for clearance under overhead cabinets? Many current fridge hinge covers adds 1-1.5" to the total, overall height. I don't think the hinge cover is necessary...just cosmetic. Correct?

- Answer You can just raise the arm on the ice maker to the up position this will put it in the off position then slide the collection tray out. The arm is removable but I would not recommend a home owner to do this.

- Answer I have both refrigerator & freezer set on 4. I started both on 5 then went to 4. On 5 the freezer ice cream had to sit a few min before I could scoop it.

- Answer If you are talking about the single plastic divider (1" w x 4" D x 18" L) running front to back with elliptical cutouts in its center splitting the basket spacing 50/50 side to side, i see no safety issues removing it. See similar question already asked for pics & how to remove/relocate. '

- Answer Not quite zero, but close. If you open 90 degrees the door will be over a little bit maybe 1/2". Door total thickness is about 2' but the hinge pivot is in about 1" or 1 and 1/2"

- Answer Thank you for your inquiry about our Whirlpool appliances. The width of the model WRB329DMBM is 29.625". To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, allow for 1/2" (1.25 cm) of space on each side and at the top. Allow for 1" (2.54 cm) of space behind the refrigerator. If your refrigerator has an ice maker, allow extra space at the back for the water line connections. When installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave 2 ¹⁄2" (6.3 cm) minimum on the hinge side (some models require more) to allow for the door to swing open.
