yes, mine does too and i hate this refrig. it makes that noise and more elsewhere. piece of junk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just bought this fridge 7/1. Air Flow sounds like a Mack Truck is sitting idle. Had Whirlpool come out and replace the part. New Air Flow started to sound the same after a week but now it rattles and the styrofoam creaks every time the device opens/closes which sounds worse. Just had a BRAND NEW fridge #2 delivered and it is making a similar Mack Truck sound. I used to have a Kenmore at my old apartment, which is made by Whirlpool, with the same Air Flow and it never made this noise. Might be returning for something else super frustrated.

I have been trying to get help from Whirlpool, but so far no help. I’ve had it about 6 months. It is the worst appliance I’ve ever had. I’m afraid the only solution will be to get rid of it. A lot of money lost.
