• The sides are not stainless and have the smudge proof texture, but the front is regular stainless.

• Product comes as regular stainless, that is plastic coated for protection. There is a product that can be applied to resist finger prints. We have applied the after market product on the stainless steel.

• It shows the finger prints. But I have found that if I use the stainless steel cleaner / polish, it stays clean for a few weeks after I wipe it down.

• No, but glass cleaner works great on fingerprints. Wipe with the grain to avoid streaks.

• No it is not but I haven't had much of an issue with finger prints.

• It shows smudges. Not hideous depending on how particular you are but cleaning will be required to keep up on the smudges. Special stainless steal cleaner is recommended in order to prevent damage to the stainless steal.
