“what is the average running time what is a typical time for completion of an average load? I would prefer not to run the heat for drying but must use a sanitize setting. if the water is filtered as it enters the machine, how easy is it to access and clean the filter? the extraordinary length of time it seems to take has been the greatest inhibiting factor towards persuading my husband to purchase/use one. thanks”

• It takes 3 hours 10 minutes for a load on the standard setting. I don't believe there is a filter, or any reason to have one in my opinion Tell your husband you'll run it overnight, It's very quiet and easy to sleep through. ALL newer dishwashers take a long time, for some reason this makes them more energy efficient.
