“I'm very concerned about it being noisy. Since my kitchen and living room, where I spend a lot of time in, are both in the same space very near each other, is this unit noisy? Any info on the noise level is greatly appreciated!”

My layout is the same way. The only noise I hear is when the ice machine makes ice.

I notice very little noise. Really only when the ice maker fills and drops ice and that doesn't seem overly loud to me

Have not been aware of the slightest noise, and mine has a similar location - family room opens into kitchen. Love it.
