QuestionThe specifications for this product list the depth as 18 5/8 inches. However the depth out of the box is actually 19 3/4 inches, I bought this model because it was less than 19 inches because any longer will prevent a cabinet door from opening. Why?

- Answer I am likely going to return this hood. I bought it today and it does not come with the charcoal filters. They are about $51 and will need to be replaced every 6 months with normal use. Too expensive!

- Answer I believe that it will the top vent knock outs are for round and rectangle. I am not sure of the size but you should be able to adjust.

- Answer The part #'s are W10905734 for the 30", and W10905735 for the 36". Just search for them at your favorite site/retailer as it seems Bestbuy doesn't carry them.

QuestionI see that this model is to be hard wired. My current hood that I am replacing (also a Whirlpool) is the plug-in type. Will the conversion be easy for a DIY installer?

- Answer Our microwave was a plugin microwave so we went on Amazon and bought a plug for Whirlpool range hood and installed that then plugged in the range hood and it is working fine so yes you can convert this to a plugin style appliance.
