Our largest and smallest burners are in the back. The largest burner is for 12 in. pan. We have never unplugged our range when going on a trip. The only thing that should be on is the clock.

Please try again later.Hi Baker, We make several models of the Gas ranges, but most have the highest BTU burner in the front for convenience, but some will feature a simmer capable lower overall BTU burner next to it We would suggest you shut the gas supply off if you will be gone for a longer duration.
