Yes...it is open at the bottom for the plug space

Yes it is. The entire back section is open behind the drawer. This range will slide right in with room for the cord to coil a bit and room for any surface-mounted range receptacle. As long as the receptacle is not within the first few inches of the sides of the opening. Near the center is perfect.
