No - this model does not have an interior light. I purchased this model without checking the reviews because silly me, I thought interior lights (you get light when you open the door) were standard, but they are not. I would never ever have purchased this product without an interior light. My 2009 dryer that I just replaced had an interior light - I just went back to the dark ages with this model.
