“Where is the drain hose hook up back or side, and do you have to elevate it to drain properly?”

• Drain hose hook up on back. It is about a foot off of the floor, so you can bend your garden hose to direct water down into sump pump pit. I used a washing machine water hose line as the drain hose (just cut off one end for length. used it cause I had one lying around and didn't want to spend any more money purchasing a garden hose.) Hope this helps.

• The drain is on the back about 12” from the floor. Its high enough to drain the water gravitationally to a floor drain or shower drain.

• The drain hose is at the back, right hand side. It doesn’t come with the hose though.
