Not to my knowledge. But if you hit stop it will unlock quickly and you can start from where you left off.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you can pause the load and that lets you open it to add more clothes, but it will have to "resense" and adjust the water then. I don't think there is a way to take the lock feature off as it would always be adjusting the water I would think.

It will pop out and you can insert it into the locking chamber. It has a magnetic connection inside and that acknowledges that the sensor is activated and working properly. Open and close the lid anytime you want at that point in time.
