The water level is set by sensor. This saves water but extends the wash time without using more electricity. I asked about this earlier this week when I scheduled a repair tech unnecessarily because I was wondering the same thing and had neglected to ask the Preventative Maintenance tech who'd come by a week earlier. You can also choose the deep water setting for bulky items that weigh less but occupy greater volume like comforters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you are not able to set the water level. The machine itself decided how much water to add based on how many clothes are in the machine. I did not think it would work as well as it does, but it honestly has not been wrong yet. And we have done a lot of loads.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The machine determines water by sensor, some have complained that it doesn't "completely cover the clothes" or doesn't put enough water in the tub for their tastes. In the manual it explains that this is because it is part of the "High Efficiency" function of the machine. I have not had a problem with the amount of water the machine decides to put in the tub. My clothes have come out just fine. If you feel it needs to completely cover the wash, there is a "Deep Water" function on the machine that will do just that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.By a sensor. I haven't actually stopped a cycle to check water level but clothes comes out clean every time! Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a setting for large heavy loads to fill up with water. Otherwise sensor is detecting correctly and water level is perfect
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.sets by sensor only
