Q: Questionmy whirlpool duet steam washer tends to tie pants and long sleeve shirts into knots. whats up with that, am i overloading it?

• A:Answer Hi Skayboo, we're sorry to lean of your concern with your Washer. Please try some possible troubleshooting solutions: Loads tend to tangle or twist when washing loads of one type of garment, such as long-sleeve shirts. Try mixing different types of load items to reduce tangling.Place a load of sorted clothes loosely in the washer. Items need to move freely reduce wrinkling and tangling. See the “Cycle Guide” for load size recommendations for each cycle. To reduce tangling and twisting, the load items need to tumble freely in the washer. You may need to reduce your load size. Using the correct cycle type for the type of load being washed will also help reduce tangling. For your convenience we have product troubleshooting available at Whirlpool.com under the Service and Support tab. • A:Answer Will it fit? YES! The installer will not install a new machine on the older pedestal because of liability. That's why we are looking at top loaders now.

Q: QuestionI have a 2011 top loader Whirlpool Duet Washer. The "Control Locked" light came on and now the machine won't start, what should I do?I have an older model top loading Whirlpool Duet Washer. • A:Answer Hello, I am sorry as I can imagine how frustrating this can be. The cycle signal button can be held down for a count of five seconds (1 one-thousand, 2 one-thousand, 3 one-thousand, etc.,) until the light comes off. That should help to release the lock in the future. I hope this works, Melanie

Q: QuestionFan Dry Option - does it vent inside of house or outside of house?Model Number WFW95HEDC - does it vent to the outside or to the inside of the house?

• A:Answer A fan blows room temperature air into the machine allowing the clothes to "air dry". No external duct is needed and the room does not heat up. It does take a very long time to dry though.
