And Watts/Amps = Voltage. These are all measurements of electricity. Voltage is a measurement of the electric potential or "pressure" at which electricity flows through a system. Amperage is another way to measure the amount of electricity running through a circuit. Amperage is the "rate" that current is flowing through the circuit or the number of electrons moving through the wire. Google "volts, amps and watts" for more information.

• A:Answer A typical AC compressor turns on/off to control temperature. Not efficient. An Inverter AC has a variable speed system to control temperature. Keeping the compressor running. More efficient.
