• There are no provisions such as a grommet, etc., for protecting the cables as they exit the channel. In a stationary application, this is not an issue. However, if the TV moves, as the cables move with it, it's possible that they may chafe against the edge of the channel.

• It does. But my TV only tilts up and down. Don't have one that telescopes or turns left and right. But it should be fine. The cover is screwed into the wall so that won't go anywhere.
