Hi there! Wyze Bulb Cam is designed to be used outdoors and is IP65 weatherproof, so it can be installed in outdoor recessed light fixtures or sconces. Please note that while the camera part is weatherproof, most socket adapters are not waterproof. It's important to ensure the socket connection does not come into direct contact with water unless you are using a verified waterproof socket adapter. If you plan to use automations like motion detection or light schedules, be aware that having multiple devices (such as a Wyze Lamp Socket powering a Wyze Cam v3 or v4, and then installing a Wyze Bulb Cam into that socket) may cause unstable power issues and inconsistent performance.
