AMD has abandoned developing graphics card drivers for windows8/8.1 operating system. RX-580 graphics card drivers for windows8/8.1 do not exist. You will not be able to game on windows8/8.1 with the rx-580.

This is the Black Edition card, which is overclocked when compared to non Black Edition cards and should be able to run just about any game on the highest settings. I run games in 4k resolution with no problems on a dual monitor setup and a 65'' 4k TV. The card will work on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10, but make sure you go to AMD's website to download the newest drivers for the card instead of using the software that comes with it. Also make sure you uninstall your previous graphics card's driver and software. Hope this helps!
