Figure about 150watts per GPU and maybe 50 for the MoBo and SSD. Also, depends on the rating of your PS e.g. gold, silver, platinum. Try not to hit more than 80-85% of your total PS rating or you could start seeing some issues. You can always get another PS and a “Add2PSU” adapter if what you have now is only a 500/600w PS.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm going to assume you're talking standard Power Supplies, and not server. Bare minimum, you'd need a 1250 watts of power to run 6, and 33 amps per card. You'd probably need two beastly power supplies to run 6 gpus in one machine. The wattage isn't your limitation; it's the amperage on the 12v rail. Most 1200-1600w power supplies kick out ~133 amps on the 12v, so with either PSU, you'd be able to run about 3 GPUs safely, 4 if you like to gamble.
