No I'm pretty sure many retailers didn't even have any available except for Micro Center who had many.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it did. I had been checking periodically since the morning of the 11th. On Thursday the 12th around 2 PM central time I noticed the grayed out "sold out" button had changed to a blue button. Clicking on it went to the details page, where the yellow "Add to Cart" button was active. When adding to cart, a message popped up that due to limited stock, buyers were required to go through another step - the yellow button grayed out and had a rotating timer. The message said that the Add button would appear again IF they didn't sell out. If you reached that point, you could try again to add to cart - then you had to race to hit the "Check out" button because the purchase wasn't reserved until you were in checkout. This process occurred for all 3 XFX cards every few minutes, for maybe 30 minutes until they were all completely sold out. You had to refresh constantly to catch which card went active again (they weren't all on the same timer). I made an attempt about 12-15 attempts, and managed to get a card in my cart twice, but both times it sold out from under me before I could click the checkout button. It was extremely frustrating. All the 6600 XT's say "online only" and nothing shows in stock for pickup, so I assume they held all inventory for purchase centrally through this online process, which really sucks. There are no Micro Centers anywhere in my area, so it's disappointing that this is the only option as I have 3 Best Buys nearby I could walk into.
