• A:Answer For Auto-Unlock via Bluetooth, you'll have to be within 15 feet or so of the lock after returning home. It will unlock as you approach the door. Because this lock has Wi-Fi, you can use the Yale Access app on your smartphone or Apple Watch, from anywhere via Wi-Fi. Hope that helps!

• A:Answer I'm unfamiliar with the MyQ app. I looked it up and it looks like they have their own set of products. I went ahead and downloaded the app for you and tried to add it. I was not able to due to limitations on the app. The app prompted me to enter the modules serial number which in my case it starts with a W. The only has ABCDEF as available letters, so unless I did something wrong I would say no. I can tell you that it works absolutely flawlessly with my iPhones Home app, Google Home app and Yale's app. it also works with my Apple watch and detects when I'm coming up to the door and unlocks per my choice. It's a super dead bolt lock that I can control from anywhere in the world that has wifi

Q: QuestionI'm seeing that the auto lock/unlock feature is not always reliable which I feel can be a safety/security risk. Is there a way to turn the auto lock/unlock feature off so that the door can only be locked/unlocked manually?

• A:Answer The auto lock option has worked flawlessly for me for 8 months. You do have the option to turn it off if desired. I have it turned on and the door locks itself after 1 minute. It also has a blue tooth unlock option which works with my apple watch or iPhone and allows it to detect me pulling up to the door after I've been out of the area. Love this feature if carrying groceries etc. I can unlock it via bluetooth, key, touch pad code or the best biometrics with the tip of my finger
