A:AnswerYale also offers cylinder replacements for this lock for Kwikset and Schlage. You can google "Yale Deadbolt Cylinder for Assure Lock 2" and click the link to the Yale site. You'll have to have a locksmith rekey to your existing key, but it is doable.
A:AnswerThis lock has a Yale core, but please read this- I bought two of these and both died within 3 months. I can now only lock/unlock them using the physical keys. Please don't even consider this lock, there are serious quality issues at Yale since they were bought out by Master Lock.
A:AnswerI installed it on a 1 1/4" door. But honestly I would not ever consider this lock again. I bought two, and both died on me the same way at different points in their short lives. I had them for under 3 months before both were only usable by the physical key. Trying to get my money back from Yale instead of the warranty replacement.
