“hooking up TV, DVR, phono .... Okay, this is the dumbest question. I did read the questions and I feel pretty sure I'm okay, but I still got to ask: I want to hook up my TV, DVR, my cassette player (it is a Yamaha older model kx-w321) and and sometimes use an older phono. My older Yamaha (which left this earth after many happy years with me) had aux, cd, phono, and other rca connections for my cassette player and accommodated everything I had except a mp3 connection. This would be the first time I have a receiver with HDMI connections. So, would I want to connect my TV on the HDMI connection? I must admit I'm not real up just yet on using HDMI on an audio device, but how hard could it be to learn? Then, for the other connection use the rca hook ups??? Then I'll ask about speakers...”
