• Yes. Subwoofer out is rca port. You will need a powered subwoofer.

• No but you'll be happy if you add a power sub around 100 watt too me its well worth it.

• It does not require it, but you'll have better richer, deeper low tones with one.

• Assuming your speaker system needs more bass yes. This unit will not power a passive subwoofer.

• No it does not. It has the set up for surround sound front sides and back. 5 wired speakers plus subwoofer if you have a sub.
