• Other answer is slightly incorrect. If used in Zone mode, only 3.1 is available to Zone A (not 5.1).

• Yes. The owner's manual provides instruction on how to add and operate stereo only speakers in another room (Zone B).

• Yes. There are instructions in the owner's manual to connect and operate both Zone A (main 5.1) speakers and a second set of stereo only speakers in Zone B (another room). I have not attempted to connect and listen to Zone B speakers..

• It does, but you loose your surround speakers in zone 1 to accommodate a second zone.
